STATEMENT FROM "THE MARCHING OWLS"

In light of the recent events happening across our nation, we – as “The Marching Owls” - stand as one, united and stronger than ever together - as we support our black members.   While the United States and countries beyond struggle to make sense of the recent injustices, the KSUMB vows to exist as we always have - built on a foundation of acceptance, love, and camaraderie for each and every member of our group.  We do not condone racism, sexism, or bigotry of any kind in our organization.  At this time, the American community must come together more than ever before. “The Marching Owls” vow to do our part to help replace fear with hope, and unity where divisions have occurred.  As we prepare for our fall season, please know that we look forward to meeting and working with each of you and welcoming you into our KSU Band Family. We wish you peace and strength in the days ahead.
